Richard or "Cheski" as many call him has been shooting still photography for close to 20 years. He is well educated and has traveled the globe shooting on location for corporate clients as well as major publication companies for more than 14 years. "Cheski" balance's his love for still photography with an addictive cinematography habit. When he is not working on still photography assignments he is "relaxing" documenting extreme and adventure sports on his 16mm cameras. "I feel still and motion photography complement each other".

Photographer Richard Cheski has a wealth of talent and is well educated with a Bachelor of Arts in Photography & Film Studies, Cheski photography has been in business since 1989. He sold his first photography at age 13 when he was approached by a friendly restaurant owner on his paper route requesting information about newspaper photographer's. "I can do that" Cheski stated. He showed up the next day, on his bike, with the camera equipment he "borrowed" from his Mom in his backpack. Thus the Cheski Photography imagining career began.

Cheski has been documenting the rise of "extreme" sports unknowingly for two decades plus. Cheski's personal image files read like a who's who of extreme sports history. "Snowboarding and Surfing are so glamorized as well as all "extreme" sports, it is great to see young kids have an opportunity to make a living doing what they love to do". " Lately I am focused on more commercial work now but still shoot action sports on a consistent basis as I am a active boardsport fanatic". "It is easy for me to shoot the X-Sport Culture because I live a parallel life to many of the athletes and I have earned their respect".
