October 2020 Update for Netsparker Enterprise On-Premises 1.9.1

We’re delighted to announce the release of Netsparker Enterprise On-Premises 1.9.1. The highlights of this release are integration with HashiCorp Vault and Travis CI, and Form Auth Custom Scripting.

We have also added new security checks, improvements, and fixes.

HashiCorp Vault Integration

Netsparker has already many out-of-the-box integrations. With this update, Netsparker included Privileged Access Management (PAM) as a new integration category. Now, you can integrate Netsparker with HashiCorp Vault.

It is a management system that provides access to (secret key values), such as password and API keys, in a secure way. This integration also eliminates the need to share and/or store sensitive credentials for vulnerability scanning on password-protected web pages. It is particularly useful if you update secrets regularly.

HashiCorp Vault Integration

For further information, see Integrating Netsparker Enterprise with HashiCorp Vault.

Travis CI Integration

Netsparker now allows integration with Travis CI – a hosted continuous integration service. It enables users to test and deploy software projects hosted on GitHub and Bitbucket.

Form Authentication Custom Script Editor

Custom scripting enables you to modify Netsparker’s automatic authentication so that you can change this authentication according to your website’s process. With this update, a custom script editor becomes available in Netsparker Enterprise. The editor allows you to execute the code in the context of form authentication pages, where you can access and manipulate the page DOM.
